Basic SWAT     6 Days   REGISTER

This class will focus on the basic operations and understandings of SWAT, i.e. SWAT history, liability issues, physical fitness/wellness, equipment/weapons selection, intelligence gathering, rapid deployment, barricaded persons, hazardous warrants, emotionally disturbed persons, linear assaults (vehicle), less-than-lethal applications, noise-flash diversionary devices, and chemical agents. This class will require physical exertion and many hours of practical exercises.

Advanced SWAT     5 Days
This class takes the skills learned in Basic S.W.A.T. to the next level. This physically intense course includes advanced training in firearms, close quarter combat, entry, vehicle assault, & less lethal applications. Students will practice team deployment within their specialized jobs. Most class time will be spent on live hands-on scenarios.

Tactical Medic     6 Days

This course is designed to train those  professionals on how to be a safe and integrated part of Special Operations Teams. Learn the Basics of Entry, Assessment & Extraction, Weapons Safety, Basic SWAT techniques, Triage Under Fire, Treating the Less Lethal Casualty, Officer Down Scenarios, Decontamination, and Terrorism & the Tactical Medic. This course also covers "TCCC Principals".
Who Should Attend:   Paramedics that support SWAT and other law enforcement activities in a potentially tactical & dangerous environment.

Basic Tactical Patrol Rifle     2 Days    REGISTER

This course is designed to help officers develop weapons and tactical skills to be used in support of high risk law enforcement operations with the tactical rifle. Instruction includes lecture and practical application testing.

Advanced Tactical Patrol Rifle     1 Day

This course continues the practical application testing portion of our BasicTactical/Patrol Rifle course. Students will spend all day working through various scenarios, perfecting their skills.

What to Bring: BDU's or other similar tactical uniform, body armor, load-bearing vest or web-gear, ear & eye protection, handgun with 150 rounds of ammunition, tactical/patrol rifle with 500 rounds of ammunition.


Basic Tactical Handgun     1 Day

This course is designed to help officer develop their skills.  Including Firearm safety, marksmanship fundamentals, pistol presentation & recover, stoppages, ready positions & scanning, administrative manipulation, emergency reloading.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, equipment including belt, mag pouch, holster (holsters worn strong side, outside the waistband holster) No Serpa holsters unless issued.  No multi-fit holsters. Duty gear is preferred. Handgun with 300 rounds of quality ammunition.

 
Advanced Tactical Handgun
     1 Day

This class takes the skills learned in Basic Tactical Handgun to the next level.  You will learn to draw and shoot with speed and accuracy in a wide variety of tactical and defensive scenarios, so that you can be confident yours will be the first.  Learn to shoot multiple targets, at various ranges, and heights.  learn to fire your handgun, not only from a combat stance, but accurately one-handed, both with your strong hand and your weak hand, including simulated injured-hand scenarios.  Learn to move and shoot, while advancing and withdrawing, and while executing
tactical reloads and maneuvering between a variety of cover-and-concealment barricades.
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, equipment including belt, mag pouch, holster (holsters worn strong side, outside the waistband holster). No Serpa holsters unless issued.  No multi-fit holsters. Duty gear is preferred.  Handgun with 300 rounds of quality ammunition.
 

Active Shooter     2 Days

This course is designed to address the threat of an Active Shooter and other violent critical incidents on school grounds, college and university campuses, shopping malls, churches and the workplace.  This course will provide the student with the proficiency and attitude through hands-on training to manage and Active Shooter situation.  This course utilizes dynamic interactive drills and scenario based training. It is an intensive 16-hour training class that covers a variety of tactical subject matters to include:  team movement and operational formation.  In addition, this class focuses on the role and responsibilities of the responding officers.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing or tactical uniform, body armor, ear & eye protection.


High Risk Traffic Stop     1 Day

This class is designed to prepare sworn officers for the high risk/felony traffic stop.  Including positioning of vehicles, verbal commands, seven points of cover utilizing a patrol vehicle, weapon discipline, and suspect control.  There is a strong emphasis on officer safety.  Environment awareness and concern for the protection of innocent citizens is a fundamental element of this course. Historical overview of High Risk/Felony Traffic Stops, Clearing the Suspect Vehicle and Maintaining Control of the Suspect.

What to bring:  Comfortable clothing. Duty gear.

  
Basic Defensive Tactics     1 Day

This is a close quarter combat class. In this one day hands-on course you will learn CQC defensive tactics, weapons & equipment retention, fall recovery, and engaging targets from ground fighting positions.

What to Bring: Bring your tactical gear, BDUs or other similar tactical uniform, Heavy Gear (if used), Duty Weapon, Protective Mask

 
Advanced Defensive Tactics - G.U.T. Geared Up Tactics
     1 Day

This is a close quarter combat class in full SWAT gear. In this one day hands-on course you will learn CQC defensive tactics, weapons & equipment retention, fall recovery, and engaging targets from ground fighting positions while in the gear that you carry.
What to Bring: Bring your tactical gear, BDUs or other similar tactical uniform, Heavy Gear (if used), Duty Weapon, Protective Mask 

Low-Light Shooting Handgun     1 Day

This course emphasizes state-of-the-art techniques in the deployment of your handgun in low-light situations, including shooting while holding a flashlight in one hand. You will practice ready positions, drawing your gun while holding a flashlight in one hand, coping with malfunctions, and reloading. Use of cover and concealment while using a flashlight and other light sources, including available light, will be taught.

What to Bring: Flashlight (can be weapons mounted) quality make like Streamlight or Surefire, gun, holster, speed loaders/magazines with belt pouch, and belt, eye and ear protection, 250 rounds of quality ammunition.

 
Executive Protection Course     5 Days
The Executive Protection course provides the fundamental skills for any level of personal protection, whether a low profile solo detail or a team.  While the emphasis is always on avoiding and
deflecting confrontation through proper planning and an alert attitude, significant training time is allotted to physical confrontation solutions.  Some of the topics include: Organization of a Protection Detail, Professionalism in Executive Protection, Use of Force/Legal Issues, Empty Hand Defensive Tactics, Advanced Handgun Skills, Foot Formations and Movement Vehicle Mount/Dismount Motorcade Procedures, Force on Force Scenarios, Trauma Care Under Fire, Realistic Field Training Exercises.
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, a sport coat or a garment that covers weapon, comfortable footwear, handgun & holster (concealable), 300 rounds of handgun ammunition, tactical rifle with 150 rounds of ammunition (if carried), glasses and hearing protection, rain gear.
    
Basic Police Sniper    5 Days

This intense course is designed to meet the training needs of the special operations sniper. Students must also pass a written test to become certified as a Law Enforcement Sniper. This course will cover psychological and physical requirements of the sniper. Use of force, marksmanship, nomenclature, firing positions, commands, rifle maintenance, ballistics, range estimation, cover & concealment, effects of weather & time of day, and making the shot.

Tactical Shield is a class where you will learn operational deployment strategies and techniques of the ballistic shield, shield maintenance, building & room clearing techniques for pairs & small elements, individual and team shooting, take-down and striking techniques...and more.

TCOLE Basic Instructor #1014   4 Days   REGISTER
This professional skill development course is for peace officers desiring to earn a TCOLE Instructor Certificate.  Students will receive theory and practice about the learning process, writing learning objectives, developing teaching material, and lesson plan development. This is an intense, time consuming course. Be prepared for homework.


TCOLE Firearms Instructor    4 Days   REGISTER

TCOLE Firearms Instructor class. It will certify the attending students to teach and sign off on firearms related courses. It will teach them how to set up and run a safe range. It will show them what is required by TCOLE on all weapons qualification courses, i.e. scoring and required task with each weapon. The student will also complete a TCOLE required qualification course for each weapon.
