Law Enforcement Courses


Basic SWAT     

6 Days (60 Hours) - 9am – 7pm    $500 per student

The 6 day class will focus on the basic operations and understandings of SWAT, i.e. SWAT history, liability issues, physical fitness/wellness, equipment/weapons selection, intelligence gathering, rapid deployment, barricaded persons, hazardous warrants, emotionally disturbed persons, linear assaults (vehicle), less-than-lethal applications, noise-flash diversionary devices, and chemical agents. This class will require physical exertion and many hours of practical exercises.

Who Should Attend:  Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day. There will be a physical assessment test the morning of the second day.

What to Bring:  BDU's or other similar tactical uniform, Tactical Equipment, Comfortable footwear (boots preferred), Knee & elbow pads (optional), Handgun & Holster (ammo carriers necessary), 500 rounds of handgun ammunition, .12 gauge shotgun (pump) (optional), Tactical Rifle with 200 rounds of ammunition (optional), Impact glasses & hearing protection, Flashlight, Rappelling equipment (if you have your own), Rain gear, Long-gun with 50 rounds of ammunition (if carried), Load bearing equipment (i.e. tactical vest)

Basic SWAT / Tactical Medic

6 Days – 9am-7pm    $500 per student

The Basic SWAT course will focus on the basic operations and understandings of SWAT, i.e. SWAT history, liability issues, physical fitness/wellness, equipment/weapons selection, intelligence gathering, rapid deployment, barricaded persons, hazardous warrants, emotionally disturbed persons, linear assaults (vehicle), less-than-lethal applications, noise-flash diversionary devices, and chemical agents. The Tactical Medic course will train those EMT professionals on how to be a safe and integrated part of Special Operations Teams. Learn the Basics of Entry, Assessment & Extraction, Weapons Safety, Basic SWAT techniques, Triage Under Fire, Treating the Less Lethal Casualty, Officer Down Scenarios, Decontamination, and Terrorism & the Tactical Medic. This course also covers "TCCC Principals".

Who Should Attend: Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit or EMT's and Paramedics that support SWAT and other law enforcement activities in a potentially tactical & dangerous environment. Student must provide agency identification on first day. There will be a physical assessment test the morning of the second day.

Advanced SWAT

5 Days – 9am-5pm   $400 per student

This class takes the skills learned in Basic S.W.A.T. to the next level. This physically intense course includes advanced training in firearms, close quarter combat, entry, vehicle assault, & less lethal applications. Students will practice team deployment within their specialized jobs. Most class time will be spent on live hands-on scenarios.

Who Should Attend: Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day. There will be a physical assessment test the morning of the first day.

Tactical Medic

This course is to train those  professionals on how to be a safe and integrated part of Special Operations Teams. What to Bring: BDU's or other similar tactical uniform, Tactical Equipment, Comfortable footwear (boots preferred), Knee & elbow pads (optional), Handgun & Holster (ammo carriers necessary), 500 rounds of handgun ammunition, .12 gauge shotgun (pump) (optional), Tactical Rifle with 100 rounds of ammunition (optional), Impact glasses & hearing protection, Flashlight, Rappelling equipment (if you have your own), Rain gear, Load bearing equipment (i.e. tactical vest), PT Clothes and sneakers, Gloves, Issued Medical Equipment (If Available)

Basic Police Sniper

5 Days (40 Hours) 9am-5pm    $450

This intense course is designed to meet the training needs of the special operations sniper. Students must also pass a written test to become certified as a Law Enforcement Sniper. This course will cover psychological and physical requirements of the sniper. Use of force, marksmanship, nomenclature, firing positions, commands, rifle maintenance, ballistics, range estimation, cover & concealment, effects of weather & time of day, and making the shot.

Who Should Attend: Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day.

What to Bring: Bolt action or Semi-automatic rifle with magnified sights, Handgun with holster, 600 Rounds of Rifle Ammunition, 100 Rounds of Pistol Ammunition, BDU's or other similar tactical uniform, Personal Tactical equipment, Load-bearing Vest or Web-Gear, Inclement Weather Gear, Ear & Eye Protection?

Basic Tactical Patrol Rifle

2 Days (16 hours) 9am-5pm   $150

This course is designed to help officers develop weapons and tactical skills to be used in support of high risk law enforcement operations with the tactical rifle. Instruction includes lecture and practical application testing.

Who Should Attend:  Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day.

What to Bring: BDU's or other similar tactical uniform, Body Armor, Load-bearing Vest or Web-Gear, Ear & Eye Protection, Handgun with 150 rounds of ammunition,Tactical/Patrol Rifle with 500 rounds of ammunition.

Advanced Tactical Patrol Rifle

1 Day (8 hours) 9am-5pm   $100

This course continues the practical application testing portion of our Basic Tactical/Patrol Rifle course. Students will spend all day working through various scenarios, perfecting their skills.

Who Should Attend: Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day.

What to Bring:  BDU's or other similar tactical uniform, Body Armor, Load-bearing Vest or Web-Gear, Ear & Eye Protection, Handgun with 150 rounds of ammunition, Tactical/Patrol Rifle with 500 rounds of ammunition

Tactical Shield

2 Days (16 hours) 9am-5pm   $150

Tactical Shield is a class where you will learn operational deployment strategies and techniques of the ballistic shield, shield maintenance, building & room clearing techniques for pairs & small elements, individual and team shooting, take-down and striking techniques...and more.

Who Should Attend: Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day.

What to Bring: BDU's or other similar tactical uniform, Boots and sneakers, Personal Tactical equipment, Body Armor, Ear & Eye Protection, Handgun with 200 rounds of ammunition, Tactical Rifle with 50 rounds of ammunition, Sunscreen & hat, Camelback, Flashlights, Gloves

Center Axis Relock (C.A.R.)

Center Axis Relock is a shooting system primarily intended for close quarters battle shooting, but it can be also used for precise long-range fire. It features the use of some proven facts about psychology and physiology of the human body.

The CAR system is just that, a system, therefore the system not only works with handguns but can be used with long guns, sub-machine guns, batons, tasers and pepper sprays.

Sabre Tactical now has the civilian version of the C.A.R. System called the Immediate Personal Defense System.

Who Should Attend:  Student must be certified peace officers, correctional officers, or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day.

Active Shooter

2 Days  9am-5pm    $150

There is a growing problem with active shooters in populated buildings, like schools, businesses, and shopping malls. This course is designed to give law enforcement officers special training in this area with hands-on worst-case scenario instruction.

Who Should Attend: Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day. 

What to Bring: BDU's or other similar tactical uniform, Body Armor, Ear & Eye Protection, Simunition ammunition provided

Less Lethal

1 day 9am-5pm $100

In a hands-on course learn the benefits and effects of using less-lethal weapons. Learn the basics of Bean-Bag Rounds, OC Spray, Flash Bangs, and Tasers.

Who Should Attend: Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day.

What to Bring: Body Armor, Ear & Eye Protection, 12 gauge shotgun with open choke

G.U.T – Geared Up Tactics

1 Day 9am-5pm   $150

This is a close quarter combat class in full SWAT gear. In this one day hands-on course you will learn CQC defensive tactics, weapons & equipment retention, fall recovery, and engaging targets from ground fighting positions while in the gear that you carry.

Who Should Attend: Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day.

What to Bring: Bring your tactical gear, BDUs or other similar tactical uniform, Heavy Gear (if used), Duty Weapon, Protective Mask

Tactical Handgun

1 Day 9am-5pm   $100

Tactical/Patrol Handgun is a course designed to help officers develop skills to be used in high risk situations with the tactical handgun. Instruction includes lecture and practical application testing.

Who Should Attend: Student must be certified peace officers or active military personnel in good standing with their department or unit. Student must provide agency identification on first day.
